School Theatre Nepal (STN)
School Theatre Nepal is an organization run by Nepali Theatre Artists who have been actively involved in Theatrical Activities for last two decades. It has been focusing on the attempt to relate Child Education and Theatre. 'Lalabala', a regular Theatre Class Project for schoolchildren has also been running remarkably successful under School Theatre Nepal. Lalabala is a Long term & Child Centered Project which aims to involve children in theatrical activities, Children TV shows and provide them with the opportunity to participate the national and international theatre festivals.
Lalabala
We've been participating in various national and Int'l theatre festivals with child actors. Till the date, we have represented Nepal with Nepali Theatre, Dance and cultural activities in the countries like India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Iran, Poland, Belarus, Germany, Slovakia, Australia etc.
Most remarkably, we have been organizing National and International Theatre Festivals in Nepal also. Our first and the second Int'l festivals met a grand success and got very creative and positive reviews from the intellectuals, theatre enthusiasts, medias and theatre personals. As our third version, we have organized "Lalabala 3rd Kathmandu International Children Theatre Festival' from in May 2023. More than 100 international actors from Country Participants : France, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Srilanka, Iran, China, Egypt, Argentina, Slovakia are scheduled to arrive Kathmandu to participate in the festival.
Most remarkably, we have been organizing National and International Theatre Festivals in Nepal also. Tanka chaulagainTanka Chaulagain, the visionary Founder Director who laid the foundation of School Theatre Nepal (STN) and brought forth Lalabala. As a senior workshop facilitator, festival director, actor and an acclaimed writer, he imparts his wisdom to aspiring talents. Beyond the theatrical productions, Tanka is also renowned for his captivating fiction books and acclaimed children's stories, leaving a lasting literary legacy.

Prakesh SindhuliyaPrakesh Sindhuliya, the Founding Member of School Theatre Nepal (STN) and co-founder of Lalabala, is a theater allrounder excelling in writing, directing, acting, and technical skills like sound, set, and lights. As a senior workshop facilitator and trainer, he nurtures aspiring talents. With dozens of Lalabala productions and national/international festival participation, his creative brilliance continues to captivate audiences worldwide.

Rambabu RegmiRambabu Regmi is the Founder Director of Mandapika Art Group. A prolific writer in his own right, Rambabu's artistic expression knows no bounds. Through his literary endeavors, he weaves captivating narratives that resonate deeply with audiences and readers alike. He is the senior workshop facilitator, yoga instructor, writer and senior art director at Lalabala.

As the coordinator and facilitator of Lalabala Acting Class, she nurtures budding talents. Deepika is highly active in professional theater, participating in short movies and music videos, showcasing her versatile artistic abilities.

Rajan serves as the workshop facilitator for Lalabala Acting Class, honing the skills of aspiring actors. With his creative flair, he has directed several captivating theater shows. His passion drives his active involvement in regular theatre activities, making a significant impact in the theatrical realm.

Aakankshya GC BhujelAakankshya GC Bhujel, a dynamic force in the world of theatre. As a versatile actor, mentor, and director, she embodies creativity and dedication. Beyond her acting prowess, she serves as a mentor at Lalabala Acting Class. Aakankshya passionately extends her reach to the community, teaching theater in schools across Kathmandu valley. She's also a founding member of Kurus Nepal which delivers lovely woolen handicrafts.

Manju GiriManju, an experienced, dedicated, and talented theater artist from Nepal, shines brightly in both stage and screen. Actively involved in movies, short films, and TV serials, she displays versatility in her craft. With expertise in working with community members and aspiring actors, Manju serves as the coordinator and facilitator of Lalabala Acting Class. Her passion for theater extends to teaching in various schools across Kathmandu valley, inspiring and fostering a love for the performing arts.
